I've had a black (chalkboard paint! yay!) wall in my bedroom for a while now. (Ask "the Mama" what she thinks about that.)
My bedroom has been a complete disaster for a while now. (Don't ask "the Mama" what she thinks about that.)
I don't know why, but I always draw a big black blank when it comes to my bedroom. All other rooms in the single-wide get a face lift on a
but I'm never sure what to do with my bedroom. Do you have a room in your house that you are forever struggling with? (It's ALWAYS been my bedroom that leaves me mystified.)

| because "the Mama" and her red-in-the-house is apparently hereditary. |
I've been throwing everything that does not serve a purpose in the "get away from me NOW" pile...
and this week-end I'm going to finish cleaning out, painting, sewing - and then:
Because that's the way things happen sometimes at my house.
comin' to you LIVE from a single-wide where I'm wondering what are you going to be doing this week-end? Tacklin' any big projects?

First of all let me say that I love that lace curtain! OMG!!
ReplyDeleteSecond, The room I am currently struggling with is my kitchen. A very large tree just outside my kitchen window (and drought) has destroyed my foundation and making my kitchen lopsided and my new cabinets are now piled on my floor until said tree is taken away and kitchen is re-leveled.
Oh well! What cha gonna do?? Just grin and bear it : )

My bedroom is a struggle. I have lived in my house for a year and have yet to do anything with that room.

A room in my house I'm struggling with...let's see... hmm... how about ALL of them? I've been working, working, working and working so the house has been neglected. It's good that it is Halloween season so I can say that the cobwebs and their lovely spiders are just decorations.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny: I pinned some of the SAME pictures you posted here on my Pinterest last night. Great mind think alike. Have a super weekend, you wonderful woman.
You've been to my house...you've seen the B&W. What you haven't seen is the room I like to call no-man's land. I need to do something about it, but I keep losing my mo-jo. Maybe I need to use your idea of a "get away from me now" plan of action.
ReplyDeleteHey...does it work on people too?
Deb
Wait. Which one is yours? The first one? None? I am so confused.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm going to a high school marching band competition and on Sun. taking some items to my sister in laws open house of vendors in her home. I have quite a few places that need some attention in our home, but sheesh, it's time consuming isn't it? And, requires decisions. :)
ReplyDeleteIt all looks gorgeous friends!
ReplyDeleteOops meant to say FRIEND, but you knew what I meant, right. It's Monday!
ReplyDeleteMy bedroom always looks crummy... either no style at all or like I purchased the entire set from a store... which I did, cuz that's how Hubby rolls. No imagination but that's the way he wants it.. BORING BORING BORING. I just live with it... heck.. all we do is sleep in there anyway, and it's dark, so I don't see what it looks like anyway.. LOL
