P.S. *Or so legend has it! LOL
P.P.S. Would you believe I watched John Glenn's orbit on a b&w portable in my 4th grade classroom?
We watched John Glenn go up in space in the auditorium of my elementary school. An auditorium full of kids who were sitting perfectly still...all eyes focused on the tiny tv screen! Can you imagine that these days? That is just a hoot thinking about it. But in our auditorium, not a peep, not a sound...just a collective WOW of amazement!
